At around 8 a.m. this past Wednesday a UMass Lowell (UML) employee discovered a mysterious looking device in the stairwell between Cumnock Hall and Falmouth Hall. Wrapped in black electrical tape with exposed wiring and a piece of PVC pipe protruding it was suspicious enough to warrant alerting the authorities.

Many students have probably heard some buzz around the topic of the Emerging Technology and Innovation Center, or ETIC, which was initially slated to be built last year.
Some students protested to save Smith Hall, since the center would be built in its place. Then, plans for it were spontaneously suspended. But now, it appears the development of the new center is back on track

Some students may find themselves coming across a certain topic that they become utterly engulfed in. A topic that they wish they could know more about. Students try to understand every single aspect of these topics, but unfortunately it takes a great deal of time, time students don’t have after all the work they do for classes.
