After taking the first two games to the Yellow Jackets in a double header, the River Hawks dropped game three 4-3. For the Jackets, Corey Ketterer (Plymouth, MA) led off the ninth inning with an RBI single rallying a come from behind victory.
This past Saturday the River Hawks men’s baseball team swept a doubleheader against the American International College Yellow Jackets at LeLacheur Park. With the pair of wins the team improved their overall record to 15-6 and 8-3 in league play winning four consecutive games.

Coming off a 26-24 record, the ‘Hawks baseball club run by Head Coach Ken Harring is ready for another season. With seniors Tim Keene, Graeme Clohosey and Jeff Maloney, the ‘Hawks will begin there season in Petersburg, Virginia against CW Post on Feb. 28, 2009 at 4:00 p.m.
On Nov. 5 UMass Lowell basketball coaches Greg Herenda and Kathy O’Neal will host an event called River Hawk Hoop Fest in the Costello Gym from 9-11 p.m.
