Warmer Weather, Cooler Clothes
After a few days of seventy degree weather it seems like the right time to shop around for t-shirts, shorts, and everything else for warm weather. Stores are all ready for the spring/ summer season and have a great selection for anyone to choose from.
Girls clothing has a few common qualities this year, floral prints, stripes, embellishments (sequins, beading) and bright, happy colors. Stores offer various tank tops, some fitted and some loose, in different colors, styles and patterns. Floral is a popular pattern in both stores.
Simple, pretty sundresses and skirts are also popping up in stores. Some are plain and simple and others are brightly colored with bold patterns. Halters, strapless, sweetheart necklines, and ordinary thin straps are out there. Skirts range from flowing and tiered, to high waisted and hitting at the knee, and all the way down to the mini skirt.
Shorts come in all different denim washes, different colors, patterns, lengths, and with and without the destroyed additions. More stores are offering the romper, a one piece outfit made of shorts and usually a tank top or camisole style top, and sometimes short sleeves. There is a sale on shorts at both American Eagle and Hollister. Other stores with women’s sales going on right now are Pacsun, and Express.
Guys have a slightly smaller variety than the girls do. Tops that are available right now consist of a wide t-shirt selection. Stripes and solid are the only patterns for a t-shirt. A v-neck or a crew neck is the only neckline options. As for a graphic t-shirts, an emblem kind of graphic, athletic style graphic, humorous picture or phrase, or the always popular creatively displayed brand name make up a guy’s options for a t-shirt. There is a large range of colors too.
Polos are another shirt option for guys, along with the variety of button downs that are out there. Polos, like t-shirts, come in different colors and patterns. The button downs, while those also come in an array of colors and patterns, the long sleeves are not the best option for warm weather. They come with short sleeves too.
Shorts are all about the same length, coming in different differing colors and styles of plaid, several light to dark denim washes, and other softer fabrics. Faded colors seem to be pretty popular as well. The above mentioned stores have the same sales for men’s clothing. Now that warm days are ahead, taking advantage of discounts is a good idea.
