A season of disappointment continued for the River Hawks women’s basketball team,who suffered a 62-58 loss against the visiting Franklin Pierce Ravens Saturday at the Costello Athletic Center. University Avenue Bridge (finally) reopens for traffic

The residents of Lowell heaved a sigh of relief when the Textile Memorial Bridge, better known as the University Avenue bridge reopened on January 5. The 113-year-old bridge, which carries 16,000 vehicles per day over the Merrimack River was closed on August 25.
