Smokers, smokers, step right up—pick your day to stop smoking. You don’t have to quit right now, but pick a day to stop.

If you’ve ever wondered why some students are wearing navy blue uniforms around campus, you can be assured that it has nothing to do with a UMass Lowell postal service program. The young men and women sporting these outfits are enrolled in UML’s Reserve Officer Training Corps (ROTC). The ROTC is a military program designed to train young people to be successful leaders as they pursue careers in the military. The program is offered at colleges around the U.S., and each one is affiliated with one of the branches of the military. UML’s program is an Air Force ROTC.
